The Becoming Education Series: Perimenopause Explained is a six-week educational series designed to help you make sense of the physical, emotional, and hormonal changes of perimenopause and menopause. Grounded in current clinical research, this course provides clear, evidence-informed education on topics including symptoms, menopausal hormone therapy, nutrition, movement, sleep, mood, sexual health, and long-term health considerations. My goal is to help you understand what's happening in your body, separate evidence from misinformation, and feel empowered to make informed decisions about your health. Over 6 weeks We'll Explore: - The stages of perimenopause and menopause, what to expect, and why symptoms occur - Common symptoms and the hormonal changes that contribute to them - Menopausal hormone therapy, including current evidence, benefits, risks, and misconceptions - Evidence-informed nutrition, movement, and lifestyle strategies to support your health - Sleep, mood, stress, cognitive changes, and emotional well-being - Vaginal, urinary, and sexual health - Bone, heart, metabolic, and long-term health after menopause - How to evaluate information, ask informed questions, and advocate for your healthcare Is This Series Right for You? This series is for women who want trustworthy, evidence-informed education about perimenopause and menopause in a supportive learning environment. Whether you're experiencing your first symptoms, considering hormone therapy, or simply want to better understand this stage of life, you'll gain the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about your health. This is an educational series designed to complement—not replace—the care you receive from your healthcare provider.
